About Paul Points
Bragging rights, finally written down.
What are Paul Points?
For years, Paul has been asking people questions and offering them Paul Points if they know the answer. A song comes on in a movie and he'll say, β10,000 Paul Points if you can name the artist.β Nobody ever kept track. Now we do.
Paul Points are just for fun. They aren't worth anything except the satisfaction of knowing something Paul didn't think you'd know.
How points are awarded
Points are usually awarded for knowing something. How many points a question is worth depends on how likely Paul thinks it is that you know the answer. The less likely, the bigger the reward.
- 50Paul's pretty sure you know this. He's just checking.
- 100β500Fair question. A decent chance you know it.
- 1,000+Paul doubts you know this one. Impress him.
- 10,000+Deep cut. Paul would be stunned.
Sometimes there's a bonus, like β+5,000 if you also know the song title.β You have to get the main question right to earn the bonus.
Who gives out points
Only Paul. When you earn points, Paul sends you a link. Tap it, tap Claim, and they're added to your total. Each link works once.
Someday players might be able to award Paul Points to each other. Not yet.
The fine print
- Paul Points are invitation only. Your first link from Paul is your invite.
- Points never expire.
- Paul's rulings on what counts as a correct answer are final.
